I have identified several other domain registrations for Messagemedia in other countries. These being...
messagemedia.uy, messagemedia.va, messagemedia.bo, messagemedia.io, and
messagemedia.cc This is a special one for US.
The server on the last two domains indicate they do not exist, but the domains have been registered and can be verified here...
206.161.233.168
As of today, the above domains do not even have aliases which puts them behind in development of these... messagemedia.co.uk messagemedia.ch messagemedia.dk
Taken together, we are beginning to get a picture of Messagemedia's build-out and where their priorities rest. Recall, the Yahooey CEO talked about business picking up in England? Well, there you have it... "messagemedia.co.uk". As if someone were reading his mail :-)
There are over 200 geographical domains. The area/country is identified by the last two letters in the domain. You can view a list here...
district125.k12.il.us
Concerning your Yahoo! comments, all the yahoo.com servers reside in the United States including sg.yahoo.com. Take a look at your list #reply-10461782, once you understand some of the rules, it is easy to tell if you are hitting a US server or not. Some could fool you, like the three on messagemedia (ie, co.uk, .ch, .dk), but there are ways to sort these out. But these countries are coming along.
I still think .de was the first domain message got up and running outside the US. It doesn't make sense for Messagemedia to sign a contract with Reader's Digest to distribute DrWeb among other things and then give this responsibility in Germany to messagemedia.de if they didn't own it #reply-10422835.
BTW, with all the Yahoo!s talking about buying more at $17, I'd say we have a better chance of moving higher before we see 17 again. Its mentality, and right now a lot of people want to buy more but at lower prices. The bottom line is, they are still buyers with a buyers mentality. If the large seller can keep his mitts off MESG tomorrow (you know, enjoy the money he has already made on the beach at Diego Garcia), we will move higher, unless of course interest rates become a factor in the market again. |
