I'm afraid you are mistaken. Nasdaq orders are farmed out to market makers (like pretty much any other web-based broker does). If your order was sitting around not being filled, blame the market makers, not fidelity. The one thing I do agree with you on is that fido is not well suited to daytrading (but then most web-brokers aren't).
