ECM: I don't live in DC. I think we should get together only when E*Trade finally fulfills to its full potentials (reflecting on its share price). May be several years down the road :} The article from Washington Post is very interesting when you think about how many areas can a TPS (transaction processing system) encounter potential technical difficulties in the internet environment (hub servers operated by Sun Micro, its own computer hardware (routers) from Cisco, transaction processing applications from Oracle and BEA, and not even mention the information highway (the local ISP to regional backbone to national backbone). I am sure each of these firms are working very hard to perfect their products. Overall, it is fantastic article. IW
