Frank...pls help me get a grip on GRIN:

1. Bottom Line: Are we to expect that GRIN should be trading soon in the $6-12 range?

2. Blast from Past:

a. GRIN traded in the $30s about 4 yrs ago; had a reverse 1:5 split in summer 1997; hit bottom of $2 about 9 mons ago.

b. Today, GRIN is bouncing off its 50-day mov ave, with volume building nicely.

c. Record-setting 1Q99. Looking at equally great results in 2Q99, to be released in 2-3 weeks.

d. Pretty solid management that answers e-mail (at least CFO does).

e. Given that other toy companies (HAS and ETYS) are getting good writeups (eg summer '99 S&P "The Outlook" that Waterhouse sent last week lists HAS with "Ten Stocks We Like for Cap Gains"), GRIN seems to move in parallel lately with them...which is generally up.

3. I'm thinking GRIN should be both a short-term and long-term play?

4. What do you think?

Kat
