When somebody tells me this Total Quality stuff is a bunch of crap, I know there's not much point in attempting to have a rational exchange; and I further suspect a rather sick culture at the company that individual works for. Great companies continuously remove product cost through improved quality. Companies that are withering away tend to believe they can't afford to improve their products. The content of your response has me convinced that your mind is completely closed, that you believe that you are absolutely right, that you've lived through absolutely everything; and that there's nothing whatsoever that you'll ever learn from some internet poster. On that last point, you're absolutely right. Ian.
