Clark,

We started from the point that current customers are unhappy with product reliability.

i.e. - there are failures that must be corrected in order for the customer to get value from the product.

There are root causes that can and will be removed from the product, if not by the original manufacturer then by a current or new competitor.

Companies that have a cultural belief that Quality Costs too much will wither and die unless they change. Richard ignoring a customer demand for improved reliability, to me, is a sign of a very sick culture.

As such, I'd like to know which company that is, and make sure that I never invest in it.

Just as it's his free choice to hold whatever beliefs he chooses, I'd like a little investment advice from him. (Let me hold whatever beliefs I choose to.)
