billserv.com to Integrate InfoSpace.com's Personal Finance Channel into bills.com, an Electronic Bill
Presentment and Payment Portal

newsalert.com

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1999--

InfoSpace.com to provide billserv.com with a private-labeled

personal finance content solution for bills.com portal

billserv.com, Inc. (OTC BB: BLLS) today announced a strategic agreement with InfoSpace.com, a leading Internet infrastructure company, (NASDAQ: INSP) that will help drive the further development of bills.com, a consumer bill-paying Internet portal that billserv.com announced earlier this year.

Under this agreement, bills.com will incorporate InfoSpace.com's compelling finance-related content into bills.com, creating a one-stop shopping experience for subscribers' personal finance needs. Content that InfoSpace.com will provide on the bills.com portal includes real-time stock quotes, news, investment research and the ability for consumers to shop for mortgages, insurance and other financial services.

When launched later this summer, bills.com will offer electronic bill presentment and payment to subscribers from a personal finance portal environment. Injecting this bill-paying service into the portal business model will subsidize costs that are normally charged to subscribers at other bill presentment and payment sites.

"We are very pleased with the progress of bills.com, and are fortunate to have an Internet leader like InfoSpace.com working with us to develop the bills.com site," said David Jones, bills.com president. "Combining the two company's core competencies - InfoSpace.com's private-label content solution and
billserv.com's electronic billing - creates a compelling combination that will develop the information infrastructure for a best-of-breed financial portal."

"The bills.com portal site is the type of site that really benefits from our content solution," said Michael Kring, director of business development, InfoSpace.com. "Personal financial content is a key component enabling consumers to view and pay bills all in one place."
