Andre,I agree with you that coms has lots of room to grow and that is why I bought back into after the last Git adjustment. But as far twisting the numbers to suit my purpose and as far as my "short time frame",I think it is extremely relavent that while the networking world has boomed and growth has been phenomonal, the Git has taken the industry leader at the time and turned it into an also ran.I think coms will retrace to the high 30's or low 40's within the next year with a possible buyout in the works that could fetch maybe 45-50,but as long as The Git is at wheel imo this company will languish and any hyper stock performance won't happen.I will invest for a 30-50% gain on my money and feel quite happy with it,but when 3com gets to my sell price and The Git is still there then I will sell and wait for the next Git buying opportunity and buy coms again. It is a very sound stratagey. It has happened over and over again.I have owned coms a few times over the years, but as far as putting The Git in longterm portfolio--------forget about it!!!!!!!!! I use coms as trading vehicle only, but once The Git is gone and they hire a real ceo then maybe my attitude would change, but until then get ready to buy me out around forty and then I will see you agin in the teens or the low twenties.
