Hello Mr. Wexler: Net2Phone vx. ZeroPlus
I have not tried either of these, but I read about ZeroPlus last week and it looks interesting. Download free software and have a mic and headphones or speaker set, a duplex sound card, and ISP. Calls can be placed over the Internet as long as the other party is on-line. Reminds me of the instant message programs for internet chatting, but using audio connections. ZeroPlus intends to make their money selling hardware. I would think if ZeroPlus works acceptably, it would draw and quarter Net2Phone in short order. Net2Phone has been out for a while and has not done anything of note to my knowledge. My guess is it is a dud.
Best regards,
m
