OSX taking another stab at 80-82 resistance this morning. That proposed RIG-Sedco Forex tie up seems to be raising hopes that more mergers will follow. In the debate here over the possible impact of oil prices and bad 2Q earnings on OS stocks, the subject of mergers and merger expectations was overlooked. This could be the trigger that drives us to OSX 85-90 before the next serious correction sets in. An even money bet in my judgement.
