The fact of the matter is that the return call was at 7:30PM EDT on 7/7/99 and it was addressed at 6:30AM on 7/8/99. It's very strange how people will lie in order to prove someone uncredible. If you read Herb's column, it is clearly dated 7/9/99, not 7/8/99, so he did take 2 days to report on the return phone call. You have just unjustly accused someone of lying. Will you retract your erroneous statement and apologize to him now? thestreet.com
