Three-Five Systems names president/CEO
TEMPE, Ariz., July 12 (Reuters) - Optical electronics maker Three-Five Systems Inc. said Monday it named Jack Saltich to succeed David Buchanan as president and chief executive.

Three-Five said Saltich has worked previously at Motorola Inc (NYSE:MOT - news), Philips Electronics unit VLSI Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE:AMD - news).

Buchanan was serving as acting president and CEO since announcing in January his plans to retire from the company. The company in April appointed then-outside director David Malmberg to replace Buchanan as chairman.

Any comments?
