Sheila, Did you actually go to the site and did you download the actual photos taken with this neat little camera? Remember that these reviews are highly subjective and maybe "Steve" didn't really know how to best use the camera the first time around. The shutter lag sounds more like not knowing how to operate this new camera. The loading of the photos into his computer may have also required a bit of adjusting his computer and monitor for the output... He did say that the camera did a nice job of putting the digital photos onto a TV set. Yes, there are probably little things that got to "Steve" regarding the various functions and his difficulty in removing the flash memory card, but if someone has large hands this may have added to the problem. I'm not saying that this could not be improved in the next iteration of the camera, but it may not be as bad as he stated otherwise Agfa would have supplied a pair of needlenose pliers! If you read over all of the features and compare this with the price after rebate, I would say that this is one of the better digital cameras out there... for the price. I too hope that Agfa listens to the users and reviewers like "Steve" in making improvements on the next version, but this little camera is capable of doing some very nice digital photography for the average point and shoot user. I will be calling around to several photo stores today to ask them about this review and to see just what could have been the problem with the shutter lag as stated in the review.

If you do a matrix comparison table of this Agfa CL-50 against all the rest in its price range, I would bet that it would come out near the top of the bunch. Our best to you up there in Ontario. Mel
