SLOT - in January-March three things happened. 1) Anything smallcap got crushed; 2) Estimates for '99 earnings came down by about 10%; 3) Investors got spooked when the casino industry tried to regulate away SLOT's business model. The effort failed, but earnings visibility remains a problem for the stock. Its hard to see exactly where that next burst of growth is going to come from, although I have a few guesses.

Focus on the IGT joint venture and the economics of that part of their business. The financials for the JV are broken out in the annual report or 10-K.
