I find it hard to believe that ACER is not selling their $500 Internet-ready PC in the US. (I mean, I can't believe the company is that dumb to exclude itself from the largest Internet market in the world--heck, the US is where the Internet was born!) What's the official story on this? Perhaps they are planning a different operating system for the US, a stripped down version of Windows, maybe. I can just imagine ol' Bill's eyes glazing over at the thought of his Windows on each of these $500 boxes ;-)
