I don't think the Goldman Hull link up raises any conflict of interst issues. There are plenty of other players in both spaces. I notice the article mentions Goldman and EGRP both holding stakes in Archipelago. Goldman also holds a large stake in WITC which is developing a 24/7 trading system. (full disclosure statement-I have a position in WITC as well but not quite as large as GS's <g>)
