W Molloy, I find it hard to believe that somebody who "claims" to understand Mr. Buffett's style would utter such nonsense on this thread. I suggest that if you would like to invest in technology stocks, please do so. Please just don't whine and bit** simply because the stock has been underperforming for 6 months or so. I think Mr. Buffett is right - it's important to have a high quality shareholder base. Judging from the diatribe that you've written, I can finally understand why he was very reluctant to offer a "cheaper" version of the A shares (in the form of the B shares) lest that it would dilute the quality of the shareholder base.

Molloy, if you check my personal profile, you will see that I own a number of semi-eqip stocks and I'm quite happy with the investment returns so far. Although my BRK portion has done nothing for quite a few months now, it's a good blanket play of blue-chips for me to go along with my tech plays. The stock is bound to come back. Just have a little patience.
