Tony, NEON's been on my radar since they tanked. Company is projecting a loss of .12/sh against 1st call's previous est of .22/share. According to company this quarters sales will be around 2X last years quarter instead of 3X projected earlier. Sequentially however it looks as if sales in this quarter will be below last quarters (25mil vs 30) and that's why they got hammered. Big question, company stated sales cycle lengthened this qtr. (Y2K slow down????) and company didn't close some deals they were counting on. The street mentioned a rumor that they've lost some deals to a competitor (forgot who, but article in The Street gives details).
Company will come out on July 20th with more clairifacation. Companies got .32 in cash for every $1 of market value based on today's price. One to watch. I'm not doing anything till a better understanding of what's going on.
Those are the elements.....any ideas what to do????
Best Regards,
Mad2
