I think one would have to a real dork, Christopher, to covet Mensa membership. Who really wants to belong to a group whose sole excuse for existing is a claim (and a shaky one at that) to be “better” than other people? Must be a bunch of real losers, at the very least on the personal level, which is one reason I never even thought of joining them (although I would be “qualified” to do so).

I'd rather be thought dumb than dorky. :-)
