Too bad.

It is curious there are more lawyers in the USA than in all the other countries of the world combined. A plethora of lawyers begets laws and more laws to keep them in business. You see, attorneys don't create wealth, only self-serving laws that feed off the wealth of others. They are good middle-men though, adept at moving money from someone else's pocket to another's pocket and scooping up their "fair share" in-between. Perhaps that's why it is known as "practicing law", like a great tennis player attorneys must continually practice to keep their skills sharp and to keep aware of every newly discovered nuance that will enable them to increase their "fair share".

Frankly, lawyers are the bane of humanity. A minimum amount is a necessary evil, I suppose. But the numbers present in America today have created a monster, a mindless juggernaut that threatens to add its ill-gotten influence to the tumbling, ultimate demise of this once great nation.

Any self-respecting person would think twice before becoming a barrister. Of course, I'm certain you thought at least twice. Just do us all a favor: don't run for public office. The governments of all nations are already swollen with preening attorneys seeking power any way they can grab it.
