Hey Gary,

How are your Wall Street Journal contacts?

How's this for the title of an article?

"Midland Shareholders band together to donate shares and cash to cover short position in an attempt to get stock trading again."

Here's something that could be news worthy:

If we all wrote out a personal check to M/L and sent them all together with a letter offering to help pay for M/L to cover the short position. Send the envelope to M/L, release what we did and their response to the press.

By the way Gary.... what is the dollar value of the M/L short position.... and what ever happened to the money that was recovered and placed in the "trust?"

Heck, with all the "P's" we own.... it wouldn't hurt to offer some to M/L.... better than losing ALL of the "P's." Heck send them C and W too instead of cash. Now this might get us some attention.

In the meantime we all should buy one M/L stock.... release that news along with the above news ..... we need them to notice us....

Any other ideas? We need to draw attention to the problem as we see it.

If we all brainstorm...we could come up with something and make the biggest part of this Midland story still to come. Besides, M/L might have insurance....and they just don't want to use it and raise their insurance rates. Can you imagine if we didn't trade again for just such a reason? Could be.... so we have nothing to lose here....

Maybe we can send the M/L checks to Midland and request they submit them for us on "OUR" Company letterhead.

This could get interesting.....
