Bluegreen, In my opinion destroying the bacteria very rapidly with much more effectiveness than conventional antibiotics alone is key. If this is the case, why couldn't they have done a simple undramatic trial of an antibiotic vs. BPI + antibiotic to demonstrate this? Antibiotic trials are generally quick, easy and comparatively cheap. Peter
