Jaime,

This month's Worth Online has an article on Asensio that I think is well worth reading.

It is at worth.com (<click> on Table of Contents, and then <click> on the Asensio article).

FWIW, I don't share the conventional "wisdom" regarding Asensio's short plays. As a fundamentals investor (long term, buy-and-hold), I'm very awakened whenever a reputable, declared short shows an interest in a stock where I may be long. In my experience, shorters do a far better job of researching and analyzing a company, and it behooves me to listen well to the story that the shorter is telling. While I don't short anything myself (unlimited upside risk; not a long term investor's strategy), I do respect Asensio's (& other shorts) opinions.
