Cadaver ...
You're right ...it's a matter of symantics ..options allow you the priviledge of playing stocks up and down ..just buying them doesn't .
But ..then you should have no stock in your portfolio unless you believe in it ..and are prepared to hold it ..stocks go up ..stocks go down ....market conditions dictate . To buy IOMG at the peak ...was NOT great timing ..a lot of profit was built in ..that had to come out ..what happened seems perfectly normal ...and forseeable .
Unless this company has become a dog overnite ..it will probably work it's way back up ..it always seems to.
To NOT buy it on a dip ....doesn't show a lot of confidence in the purchase ,company , or stock ....and really calls into question the decision to buy in the first place . To pass on the well-timed buy ..simply because of the poor- timed one ........seems ......expensive .
I'll stick to options on this stock ....more ways to play it ..and I can cover my mistakes ..when the beast turns ...
