Perhaps. But it is not due August 11th. That is the day of the total solar eclipse in Europe. The comet has been here for months and was originally spotted this Spring by an amateur astronomer in New Zealand. Right now Lee is behind the sun (from our perspective).

Nostradamus did not predict a comet in July/September 1999, but supposedly a "Great King of Terror" first becoming visible during the eclipse of August 11, 1999. No one really knows what that "King of terror" is supposed to be. Right now everything is pure speculation.
