I thought Nostradamus predicted this one along with the make, model, year, of the carriage:
meteorite.ch
Interesting, meteors and meteorites are a practically an everyday occurrence.

Indeed they are, although the one over New Zealand was unusual in that it was visible (as well as audible!) at 4 in the afternoon, and attracted the attention of hundreds of onlookers. This is perhaps a once-every-few-years event, and is less spectacular than the one in Oregon in 1972.

Like you, I chuckle at the idea of Nostradamus "predictions". I am most amused at the quatrains dredged up predicting some new thing, with the sender unaware that the riddle was actually written by Nazi Germany and attributed to Nostradamus during the war. Even England and the US got into the act.

I do try to teach friends about critical thinking, with some success. SI users can start a new thread about any topic of interest, perhaps gullibility is a worthwhile topic.
