you are in a taxi in NYC going to work Way to go, Bill,,, as for me, in fact the modem arrives in a few hours and expect to be one of the first to use it from NYC. Walked the streets today and -- lo and behold --- there they were: Ricochet repeaters on top of light poles, all through mid-town. All else aside, I can only be impressed that MCOM was able to get the NYC Department of Light Poles (or whatever it's called) to allow the install,,, this being a city notorious for beaurocratic and union-type lockouts on anything that moves faster than a snail. Looking forward to picnicing in Central Park tomorrow. BAD NEWS GOOD NEWS: Having 24/7 mobile net access sure will not cure web addiction --- but at least it gets you outside. see ya from the picnic!
