Sounds like "Don't p...p..p.PANIC!!!" to me...from a guy who manages some pathetic small portfolio of equity investments and has now decided he's an "investment" advisor for the broader market (...since his efforts as a practicing economist have failed so miserably.)

I guess he's just not paying attention and should probably spend a few moments with these two charts:

-and then consider the fed's market valuation model.
-and pick up a newspaper and read the international financial/business section.

Maybe it's just me, but I see all the trouble in the world contained in these two charts when compared side by side and y2k doesn't even figure in at this point. Imagine what they'll look like when it does.

(If Ratcliffe were a public company I'd sell him short.)
