KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Jul 13, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) --
i-CommerceGroup, Inc. (OTC BB:ICGI) today reported that it, as part of
its recently initiated traffic building advertising campaign designed
to promote its various Internet e-commerce sites, has reached an
agreement with ZDNET for the purchase of 1.5 million banner ads on
select Internet Channels operated by ZDNET.

Some of the ZDNET's Internet Channels that will be utilized in the
campaign are Yahoo Internet Life (www.yil.com), Game Spot
(www.gamespot.com), Video Games (www.videogames.com) and Interactive
Investor (www.zdii.com).

i-Commerce Group recently launched a wide-ranging advertising campaign
which includes ad placements on a variety of leading Internet sites,
including Yahoo (www.yahoo.com), GO2NET (www.go2net.com), Metacrawler
(www.metacrawler.com), 100HotSite (www.100HotSite.com), Stock Site
(www.StockSite.com), Silicon Investor (www.SiliconInvestor.com), Haggle
(www.haggle.com), Microsoft's LinkExchange (www.LinkExchange.com) and
Thomson Investor (www.ThomsonInvest.net).

"Our agreement with ZDNET," commented J.D. Jenkins, Chairman and CEO of
i-Commerce Group, "is expected to further strengthen our presence on
the Internet. Overall, the ad program is reaching out to a broad mix of
Internet users, while specifically targeting the types of individuals
who we believe are prime candidates to become customers for our various
e-commerce sites."

Jenkins went on to say: "We are pleased with the traffic being
generated by our advertising activities. In the last week alone the
Music site (http://www.MusicInStock.com) experienced an average
increase of 497% in user sessions per day. In addition to attracting
new users, MusicInStock is experiencing a high degree of repeat users
which the Company feels is an indication that consumers are bookmarking
MusicInStock.com within their browsers for future access."
