Ok, we know the foundry value and now, the many +'s and -'s of the Diamond buyout. However, I'm still curious about S3's core business, particularly the upcoming GX4. Anyone else? I just can't find anything that reveals significant info. on this project, just little tidbits here and there. S3 is keeping quite a lid on this baby. I've heard this is finally going to propel them into the high-end market, for real this time ;-) I've also read something about GX4 simply having a dual Savage4 architecture. Is that enough to put it in the high-end considering the Savage4 itself is just a mainstream 3D chip? The articles on the NV10 sound very impressive, so will GX4 be up to the challenge? Anyone see anymore articles regarding GX4?
