You wrote, "a word of caution, the market is ripe for correction, the Nasdaq has gone up more than 10% in 2 weeks."
And then what about after this correction. What would happen then? Most likely a move back up. But what if Dell announces major news? What will happen to the stock then?
And what if, as I have felt for awhile now, Dell becomes a hybrid computer/internet stock. Do 60 PE's then look ridiculously low?
As I sat on our beach this weekend watching the waves, they made me think of the cyclic nature of the market. Constant ebb and flow. Strong downticks in solid companies seem to have an equal and opposite reaction after time.
Your advice relates to short term investors/traders, and I in no way discount their approach. For the longer term investor, your prediction, should it come to fruition, is a temporary situation.
But hey...wait...it's all temporary, isn't it.
Carpe diem.
