Yes, in an academic setting. It has to do with eligibility for group home. Ironically, he needs to do poorly to be eligible because the guidelines are very restrictive. A genius parapalegic that needs complete 24-hour assistance would not qualify for assistance (IQ not low enough) but a mild mentally retarded person who could function 99% as a normal adult would qualify. How is this determined? By an IQ test.
