Hello Mr. Wexler: BTIM
BTIM looks like it is going to top this week at 14+. I thought it was going down for the count when it recently went below 10. I was wrong. As long as they have money to expend, I think I should ride the rises down repeatedly, preserving the age of my shares short. I expect it to continue to cycle to lower highs and lower lows. I do not believe they will ever find enough of anything to run as a business to justify present market cap of 150M. Volume extenders are a low margin business. Again, if they demonstrate some business to be had, I think the heavyweights will formulate their own extenders and rule out any business on the lines of tens of millions. The heavies have the distribution channels nailed very well. I would short more at 14+ but I do follow a diversification discipline on this one, so I will not be doubling up.
Best regards,
m
