The articles in todays Daily Telegraph in the UK make very
interesting reading.......
The first features commentary on the value to the MD of Freeserve
and other shareholders who stand to make a fair penny from the flotation.Most importantly for the reader like myself is the reference to the recent purchases by Freeserve of essential content
providers, such as BABYCOM.com, a parental advisory service, for
prices which secure content at a price Freeserve can afford to
pay prior to going public..........
The second is Editorial comment, referring to the fact the there is
an Internet share fever in the UK just as there is in the USA and that
Freeserve is the first real test of that, particularly, the all fur
coat and no knickers approach of these IPO's with no track record,
and no profits...just pure hype, and WHERE THEIR CONTENT SOURCES
ARE NOT EVEN SECURE!!

So the implication is that CONTENT and the INSECURITY or LACK of
OWNERSHIP is going to be (possibly) the most talked about feature
of the Freeserve flotation over the coming few weeks.....

Surely this is music to our ears, and the stuff of what takeovers
are made of.....
