From fullon3d.com AMD producing copper interconnect CPUs German computer magazine c't reports that AMD's Fab 30 in Dresden has been producing the first prototype K6 cores using copper interconnect technology. While yields are not known, Dresden is confident to produce copper K7s by the end of the year and possibly exceed 1 GHz (!) with them. Kap.
