Well if he had used the PII 450 as the base-line as the jump up.

In my mind the PIII-500 was a mid life kicker as well this year.

The volume work-horse has been the 450's.

With this they would need to hit 700Mhz or so and AMD has stated that they expect 650 in Q3 and 700 in Q4.

The bottom line is it is a true jump in performance no matter how he spins it.

IMHO the key is volume volume and volume.
