Sorry you feel that way. But it makes perfect sense to me, and would be an enticing reason why to buy into this sort of system. Under SDMI guidelines, you can now legally assemble your own unique "Mix Tape" in under 2 minutes via USB every time you set foot out the door. Simply drag and drop the songs you want from your computer hard disk onto your portable player icon -- easy as pie! ...And thanks to the security of SDMI Digital Watermarks embedded in the songs, the recording artists get their due.

No need to limit yourself by "binding" songs rigidly to any particular media like Flop! You couldn't possibly assemble your own Mix Tape with this arcane method. Welcome to the future! It obviously doesn't involve Iomega!
