Why would Saltich quit within months of the opening of Dresden fab if the manufacturing process were known to be successful? He has been there since its inception in April of 1996. Wouldn't he want to be around for some of the glory due to the success of the Dresden Fab, which is crucial to AMD's success? Would it not reflect on his own success especially if someone else were called in?

I don't know about sinister but it appears that Saltich's leaving indicates that there are serious problems with Dresden
