I had some time yesterday so I surfed all the de novo banks I could think of - NTBK, TBFC, Compubank, and USAccessBank. Overall, NTBK had the highest interest rates and the lowest fee schedule. NTBK also had the lowest minimum required balances. In terms of ease of use, all the banks were quite easy. Doesn't really take a genius to figure out how to read your statement online. I think eventually the differentiation will be achieved through customer service. Right now though I'm happy with my Netbank account.
