for day traders, trying to figure out where it might land, a brief primer....... 52 week high is 24. First clinical results were for a headache trial in children. There were indications of efficacy, but results didn't achieve statistical relevance. Stock crashes. Biotech sector sick in interim, and subsequent strong clinical data ignored until today. To summarize..... traded at 24 without [blinded] clinical data in hand, now trading at 12 with strong data under belt. Market cap is 140M. Toxicity profile for pleconaril could indicate that OTC use is possible in the future, but any attempt to push a virus against a selective pressure would hit resistance at FDA? (That's why I posted the abstract..... it's nice to see attenuation of a virus after exposure to plec) Next in pipeline is RSV (preclinical).
