Bank of Nova Scotia was very positive about Alberta's growth yesterday, more than any other bank. The cyclic nature of the oil patch didn't bother their forecast. The ScotiaBank is also Global Thermoelectric's banker,and General Motors Canada retail banker... there is other connections as well... interesting Scotia is resisting mergers. Apparently Toyota is into banking along with the Big 3 automakers.
