The following items appeared in a handout from the 7/8 analyst's meeting: Gm Ovonic is forming a strategic alliance with a major Japanese based NiMH manufacturer (Ovonic licensee) to expand product offering. re PEM fuel cell commercialization strategy ECD is working on preliminary commercialization programs with; -major oil companies -several automotive OEMs -a power utility company -an electric equipment manufacturer Anyone what to take a stab at who the strategic alliance would be. My hopeful thinking would be Matusuhita because Toyota is in alliance with Matsushita and now GM, and the head engineer at Toyota came to Ovonic to view and take a test drive of their Prius with Ovonic prismatic hybrid batteries.
