Mr Fun.

Thanks for chiming in. I agree with you and I don't believe any of the arguments I made earlier are in conflict here. If you want dogmatic however go back and read your own post.

Now, to get on with discussing the stock rather than characterizing one anothers posts.

Point 1 - agreed... who wouldn't
Point 2 - short positions increased...how does this look relative to competitors? Looking at cisco short interest in alone only tells part of the story - right?
Point 3 - Operating margins are decreasing - a known yet still far higher than the competition and still a huge growth market ahead. Also, continued huge investments.
Point 4 and 5 - Yes, Cisco is pricey.. I think I mentioned this already today and forcasted a 20% haircut. If the market tanks it indeed could be 40%. But, tell me you're not a buyer at $40..
Point 6 and 7 - Cisco management guidance has always been pessimistic...and they always beat the numbers..
Point 8 - should not even be discussed here unless you truely do not know. Passing insider information is illegal.
Point 9 - really? and you think they are more complicated for cisco than other networking vendors. Hey, the communications world is changing and all the vendors are scrambling. To position that cisco has any greater challenge than other vendors is simply ludicrous.

As for the BTW: How much of Lu and NT revenue are circuit switches...... We were talking about revenue from data communications products. and please account for BAY separetly. LU's sales of enterprise data communications products are less than $1B...way less - yes - that's a guess but I think a good one.
