It never made sense that gas would be up this week since the just released figures include the Sat-Mon of the holiday and all indications were that vacation travel was quite heavy. The fact that crude closed above $20 for the first time in 20 months also indicated that positive figures were expected. This whole consensus of estimates is really mysterious. Who are these "experts", who decides they are "experts" and what special information do they have to make educated (uneducated?) guesses ? I would be interested in knowing if they are analysts or traders or whatever. They could very well have private agendas based on trading position since there is really no economic incentive to be totally honest in stating their predictions. John
