Oh gee JLA, you have really outdone yourself this time. You said:
Interesting poll results. The majority are either not convinced or unsure about the future of girls soccer.

But look - here was the actual polling question -
Given the success of the 1999 Women's World Cup, think a U.S. women's professional soccer league will become a reality?

I'll leave off your obvious lack of distinction between a woman and a girl's league. But beyond that, the question is whether there is enough interest for a professional womens soccer league. Are you intelligent enough to understand that many sports exist without equivalent professional leagues?

You also don't seem to get the fact that the winning team, men or women, soon becomes the "real" team. Since the US womens team is a winner in this event, that means "real" soccer in the US is now a womens event. The womens team publicity, etc. will eclipse the men now. This will remain until the men start to win, if they ever do. (btw it doesn't matter if there are extenuating circumstances that cause women to win this sport, that is irrelevant as we have seen in the olympics. Whoever wins, wins and thats it)

You once said english was not your first language. I really wish you would go back to your "home country"... be it Iran or Saudi Arabia or whatever middle eastern country it was, lest people like you thrust this country into a perpetual dive into ignorance.
