Right you are about the cancellation confirmations. Right you are about the calculations on that somewhat deceptive 9.99 trade. Especially when Datek does not offer an NYSE stop, and you cannot trade as the stock tanks. It was truly frightening this morning. The third person I spoke to at 10:20 touted the party line "we are experiencing slight delays in the confirmations". Slight? -- order entered @9:45 -- 45 minutes later couldn't tell me if it was executed and the stock was still tanking. As it turns out it had not been executed. I had him cancel the order and I re submitted it later at a deeper loss. Thank you for the post. I appreciate your input.
