In fact, the entire improvement in margins and then some should be ascribed to the non-CPU business.
Intel's CPU revenues dropped $870M, and since there were apparently 25M CPU's in each quarter, that is equal to $35 per CPU.
Finally, a 76% increase in revenues in non-CPU business is not as impressive as first glance, since these "sales $" were purchased by buying companies using shareholders money.
