MM: Compared to what H Peterson is trying to accomplish, my problem is nominal, but... Today I was clearing my C:\windows\temp folder. One of the files there would not delete and gave me an error message indicating that access was being denied. The file was created last night, Monday, at almost the exact time I shut down my PC. The file is: WebPoolFileFile 1K Opening it in Notepad shows: MSCF ‹Z € 4 P Ï rb002.cab Again, I am unable to delete this file because “Access is denied”. Can anyone tell me what this is... and why I should have to keep it? TIA, JCC
