Is it possible for any oil stocks to be undervalued,
especially junior oils. We have just come through
a situation where there was such a surplus of oil
that if the supply had not been artifiscially
curtailed, the junior oils would have joined the
junior golds. The price of oil is being held up
only by agreements to cut back production and we
know, from past experience, that those cut backs
are more often broken than kept.

Are we not, in oil, as in just about all commodities,
at present, in a situation that our investments/
speculations are threatened by oversupply?

I say this as the holder of a large position in a
junior oil company that managed to survive the
recent downturn. What concerns me is not the
companies ability to find oil and gas, or to
manage well (the management are competent) but
on the fact that the future of the company may
be determined by politicians in distant places.
