Thanks Smart$, I have followed and enjoyed your comments for some time. Y'know I meant to ask---you said last week that you visited a couple of daytrading shops recently---were you thinking of trading there, or just checking them out or what? Besides them being noisy, what other impressions did you have? If you have always traded at home alone, how have you learned? Just from experience and reading?

I am thinking of trying out an onsite daytrading firm later this year. I haven't used level 2 info before and will have enough to concentrate on without handling computer adminstration too, so I like the idea of just sitting down at the terminal and having someone else take care of the pc/data feed/broker connections. I suspect that the NYC/Jersey offices are as raucous as they get---New Yorkers don't have a reputation for being shy & quiet<g>.
